Shipment Packing and Labeling

It is extremely important that all cartons be packed and labeled correctly. In all cases, the con- tent of the carton(s) and accompanying packing slip(s) and/or ASN must match 100%. If discrepancies are found during quality audit, additional inspection, up to 100% inspection, will result. This constitutes a vendor violation, and this is subject to chargebacks.

Packaging Standards

• Carton opening must be on the largest surface area

• Vendors are responsible for ensuring cartons adequately protect the company’s

merchandise regardless of corrugated standards used

• Carton’s physical weight must not exceed 50 lbs

• Follow Master Pack instructions if shipping small cartons and criteria is met or, when appropriate, if multiple styles/colors are on PO

• Carton weight must be expressed in terms of UPS Dimensional Weight ((length * width * height) / 250) unless explicitly expressed otherwise

• Packing slips must be in pouches on the outside of each carton, unless waived for EDI PO

• If cartons exceed maximum dimensions or length and girth, approval by Traffic is required.

Carton Dimensions

Please see below for the carton packaging requirements to avoid additional handling surcharges (note: this applies to cartons only, not polybags):

• Length + Girth (L + 2W + 2H): Less than 103"

• Height: Less than or equal to 18"

• Width: Less than or equal to 28"

• Longest Side: Less than or equal to 46"

• Second Longest Side: Less than or equal to 28"

• Weight: Less than 50 lbs.

• Please note that all dimensions are determined by external measurements.
